The project seeks to engage in a dialogue
with Kazuo Shinohara’s “Fissure space” of his Second Style, aiming to create an
"experiential fissure space". The two staircases both interrupt and
connect the entire building, requiring continuous movement and transitions
between them to unify the three elements into a cohesive whole. 替經營遠洋漁業的一家人三代同堂設計的住宅。位於典型舊市鎮邊緣的新興重劃區內,距離南臺灣重要的漁港約十分鐘車程,基地為長方形,沿街面寬度是一般五米面寬街屋的四倍,長寬比約4:5,四周正處於持續開發階段,除了對面廢棄的旅館與都市計劃內可能興建的市場外,場所並沒有太具有識別性的參照,建築整體秩序來自內部組織關係。
